NF-(Kpone)- Mr Samuel Okoe Amanquah popularly known as Okoson have toured some examination centers within the Kpone Katamanso Municipality as the 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examination commences .

The MCE together with the Municipal Education Director encouraged the candidates to put up their maximum best during the examination period.

In an interview with newsfarmgh.com after the tour the Kpone Katamanso Municipal Chief Executive noted that the candidates have been able to comport themselves saying they would end on a good note.

He added that the Kpone Katamanso Municipal Assembly was ready to render support to candidates who would perform very well but would need financial support to progress to their next academic ladder.

Mr Amanquah hinted that education holds the key to every developing country adding that the 2021 BECE group has a responsibility to prove their worth as the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagship program ‘Free Secondary School’ awaits them.
He inspires the students to answer the questions very well so as to score the needed marks needed for candidates to acquire a pass grade.

He further expressed gratitude to the municipal education directorate for putting in measures to ensure the examination was successful.
Mr Evans Harry Arthur Kpone Katamanso Municipal Education Director stated that the conduct of the examination has been very smooth.

He sadded that measures were put in place to ensure every candidate wore a nose mask so as to help curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Mr Evans Arthur explained that there would not be any strict supervision during the examination period with a call on the candidates to draw the attention of the supervisors should there be some unpleasant actions which could affect their performance during the examinations.

According to the Municipal Education Director, it was expected that the 2021 BECE results would be an improvement over the 2020-year group.

Some 7,689 candidates are expected to participate in the 2021 BECE examination in 25 designated examination centers across the municipality.

The examination centers visited included, kpone Community SHS, Oxford Kingdom School, Princeton Academy, noble kidz Academy and Rising Soul Schools.

Newsfarmgh.com observed that 3,676 boys and 4,013 girls from 226 schools including both Public and Private schools registered to participate in the 2021 Basic Certificate Examination in the Kpone Katamanso Municipality.
