NF-(Kpone)- Mr.Solomon Tettey Appiah Kpone Katamanso Municipal Chief Executive has cautioned students, Teachers and none teaching staff of the Kpone Community Senior High School to turn a new leaf to enhance the prospects of the school.

Speaking at a fund raising ceremony at the Kpone Community school to raise funds to construct a fence wall for the school, Mr.Tettey cautioned that both teachers and student must comport themselves within the confines of the school.

He explained that,incessant disregard to rules and regulations by students in the school has reached it crescendo ,saying it was time such attitudes be abhorred .

The MCE noted that, students were mostly seen in town even during teaching hours, adding that some even engaged in immoral activities something he said was not acceptable.

According to the Municipal Chief Executive, there have been reports where teachers have been cited for having some sexual relations with some female students arguing that the school authorities must intensify their investigations to ascertain the veracity or otherwise of that claim and not attempt to cover it up. ‘let the truth come out’ he said.

Mr. Tettey said the Municipal Assembly was investing soo much money in the school to ensure students and teachers were given the conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning activities.

‘As for me as I stand here I have taken my love out of the school, the school lack discipline’ he fumed.

He mentioned that Kpone has only one public secondary school and it was the duty of parents, teaches and students to protect the school for future beneficiaries.

The Kpone community SHS is one of the Community based Secondary Schools built by the erstwhile John Mahama administration in 2015.it currently has 1,200 student population .
